Lidlington Station

I was invited to work with youth club members to create artworks that gave them a sense of belonging in the village. These small but impactful panels were designed with and feature the next generation of young men living in Lidlington, a small rural village on the Marston Vale line.

Lidlington Lads

I was invited to work with youth club members to create artworks that gave them a sense of belonging in the village. These small but impactful panels were designed with and feature the next generation of young men living in Lidlington, a small rural village on the Marston Vale line.

They curated their own ‘photoshoot’ and helped select the colours and images that reflected them. The village youth club is a haven for the young people here, especially during this project when Lidlington Station was out of service and access out of the area was more difficult.

The young people feel a sense of pride to be part of these artworks and enjoyed finding themselves within the pieces.
